Slováci vyhrali silne obsadený turnaj vo Švajčiarsku

Slovenské reprezentačné družstvo v curlingu na vozíku zaznamenalo skvelý úspech, keď v rámci prípravy na MS vyhrali na turnaji vo švajčiarskom Wetzikone. Družstvo v zostave Monika Kunkelová, Dušan Pitoňák, Radko Ďuriš a Peter Zaťko vyhralo v skupine v štyroch z piatich zápasov a prehralo iba s Kanadou (5:8). Slováci však vo finále tohto súpera zdolali 9:1 a zaslúžene sa tešili z triumfu.

The return of the World Senior Championships to Sweden has also brought back to the ice Anette Norberg, arguably one of the most successful curling players and female skips in the sport's history. Anette has won two Olympic gold medals, three World Championships, and seven European Championships. She formally announced her retirement in 2014.
