Pravidelné tréningy už od 4. septembra

Curlingová hala na Zimnom štadióne V. Dzurillu v Ružinove otvára svoju prevádzku od pondelka 4. septembra. Cena tréningov pre členov SCZ je rovnaká ako v minulej sezóne 40 eur, polovičku z tejto sumy v rozsahu 2 hodín týždenne bude dotovať SCZ. Pravidelné hodiny sa dajú stále objednať mailom na office@curling.sk. SCZ plánuje od októbra otvoriť curlingovú akadémiu pre deti od 10 do 16 rokov, ktorá bude každý týždeň v utorok a štvrtok. V stredu a piatok sú naplánované tréningy pre nových záujemcov.

New Technical Commission charged with sustaining outstanding ice conditions

The World Curling Federation is in the process of appointing a new Technical Commission which will be charged with achieving the highest level playing conditions at all levels of the games. The Commission will be made up of between four and eight members. Applications for the commission are now being taken until Friday 30 November 2018.

There are many reasons why a city decides to bid for an Olympic Games. One of the main reasons is the legacy left afterwards. The likes of China, Canada and Great Britain have all benefited from being a host nation and in turn have seen a boost in performance. The Pacific-Asia Curling Championships 2018 is set to take place at the Gangneung Curling Centre, the recent Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games curling venue, in Gangneung, South Korea this week.
