V Smižanoch druhý ročník Tatras Open Air

Pod holým nebom prvýkrát aj zápasy slovenskej ligy

V Smižanoch sa bude od 1. do 4. februára konať historicky druhý turnaj pod otvoreným nebom Tatras Open Air. Keďže sa bude hrať na ľadovej ploche s umelým chladením, bude garantovaná kvalita ľadovej plochy. Prvýkrát sa v rámci turnaja odohrajú aj zápasy slovenskej ligy. Počas podujatia si vyskúšajú curling aj žiaci základnej školy. Na turnaj sa dá prihlásiť do 1. januára 2024, všetci účastníci sú vítaní, vecné odmeny dostanú všetky tímy.

Netherlands defeat Olympic champions in Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men’s opening session

In Saturday afternoon's opening round-robin session of the Pioneer Hi-Bred World Men's Curling Championship 2019 in Lethbridge, Canada, Netherlands beat Olympic champions, United States by 6-5. Other winners were hosts Canada, who took an extra end to beat Korea by 6-5; Japan, who had a 6-4 win over Italy; and Scotland who beat Russia by 8-2 in eight ends.

The World Mixed Curling Championship 2019 will be held in Curl Aberdeen, in Aberdeen, Scotland from 12 to 19 October. This appointment comes a year after the same venue hosted the World Junior Curling Championships 2018.
